In early 2012 we were asked to travel to Yaowawit School located near Kapong Thailand. This school was set up for victims of the tsunami that hit South East Asia in 2004 and greatly affected Kapong and the south of Thailand.
The school is filled with wonderful smart and smiley children. They love to laugh, play games and to learn english.
We travelled along with a group of high school kids from the Hong Kong International School who were there doing an interim service week. The HKIS students lead english language classes, helped to build parts of Yaowawit’s new farm and lead group activities.
